I started with nothing - Just a few years ago, at the age of 32, I couldn't even turn on a computer - FACT!

I went to college and learnt. After being virtually bankrupted by The Machine I chose to explore the Internet as a vehicle to attaining wealth and freedom because I believed it offered the most opportunities for someone like me ... actually it offers great opportunities for just about anybody!

Having said that I want to point out that Omniscience has nothing to do with how you choose to make your money and although the Internet has been good to me, I am well aware that it isn't for everyone.

I say 'business' because unless you're highly specialised, highly trained, highly sought-after, a job in the tradition sense is time hungry, not leveragable and will simply never pay enough!

How much is enough? ... Well that depends on the individual but take it from me, it's bloody great fat number that very few jobs in the world will pay?

Stellios from Easy Jet (a highly successful European budget airline) suggests that anything over an accumulated figure of £10million (@ $20M) is vanity! ... That's rich coming from someone who comes from a Greek shipping family and is clearly so vain it's painful.

I put the slightly more conservative figure to aim at somewhere around ... mmmmm!

£4,000,000 (@$8M) free and clear ... and if you think that's going to be hard to attain ... you're damn, fucking right it is!

But whether that figure is a mind-blowing amount to you or something that simply seems 'a lot' ... it is attainable ...

Omniscience is about opening the door to 'self', by doing so you open doors to a better world.

I built my business one step at a time - for years the money refused to roll, but I stuck at it. I did whatever it would take to succeed ... and now I pass all that accumulated knowledge on to you.

Omniscience (or Omniscient Point-of-View in writing) is the capacity to know everything infinitely, or at least everything that can be known about a character including thoughts, feelings, life and the universe, etc. etc. etc. bla, bla, bla...

Throughout The Omniscience Principle I actually maintain that we know very little about anything at all!

Everything we 'think' we know, the teaching, doctrine, theories and facts are not all they seem, they are ephemeral; they are mostly 'other' peoples' ideas presented as 'fact' ... until a new, better suited, better fitting proposal prevails ...

For instance, Aristotle, the ancient Greek philosopher was so respected that his works formed the basis of most knowledge for nearly two thousand years.

No one thought to question his 'fact' that flies had only four legs and that snot was brain matter! (Snot is the green slime that dribbles from your nostrils on a cold day if you're not familiar with the word!).

Even Christmas and 25th December being the date of Jesus' birth is not what we think!

His birth, which is the basis for the Anno Domini system of dating, has been determined by modern historians as having occurred between 7 and 2 BC. The date of celebration is not thought to be Jesus' actual date of birth, and may have been chosen to coincide with ancient Roman solar festivals that were held on December 25 worshiping their sun God Mithras.

Now on the subject of Mithras, it appears that many stories attributed to Christianity are nothing of the sort and are actually adopted from older beliefs. It has been said that if the growth of Christianity had been arrested by some mortal malady, the world would have been Mithraic!

After the triumph of the church over paganism, artists continued to make use of stock images originally devised for Mithras in order to depict the new and unfamiliar stories of the bible. The way in which Mithras was depicted shooting arrows at rocks causing fountains to spring up was adapted to represent the biblical story of Moses striking Mount Horeb with his staff to release drinking water, according to Cumont. Likewise the Heavens, the Earth, the Ocean, the Sun, the Moon, the Planets, signs of the Zodiac, the Winds, the Seasons, and the Elements appear on sarcophagi, mosaics, and miniatures in the fourth to fifth centuries using the same sort of iconography used for Mithras earlier.

The scene of Mithras ascending into the heavens was apparently incorporated into Christian art: after Mithras had accomplished a series of miraculous deeds, he ascended into the heavens in a chariot, which in various depictions is drawn by horses being controlled by Helios-Sol, the pagan sun god.

In other depictions a chariot of fire belonging to Helios is led into the water, surrounded by the god Oceanus and sea nymphs. Vermaseren argues that Christian portrayals on sarcophagi of the soul’s ascension into heaven, though ostensibly referencing the biblical scene of Elijah being led into heaven by fiery chariots and horses, were in fact inspired by representations of Mithras' ascent into the heavens in Helios’ chariot. The sun god, provided inspiration for the flames on Elijah’s chariot and the Jordan River is personified by a figure resembling the god Oceanus.

And this is often the way!

Columbus didn't 'discover' America, it has been there since the beginning of time and merchants had been plying the oceans for hundreds of years before he trundled up their established trade routes. Apparently, the Indian Squanto who met the first Pilgrim Fathers at Plymouth, Massachusetts asked them if they wanted a beer!

He spoke perfect English having been there several times!

The fact that he spoke to them at all is is remarkable because he was actually thrice kidnapped and enslaved in Europe before returning to America to find that his entire tribe had been wiped out by a plague brought by the European explorers.

The point is that our knowledge base seems increasingly fragile doesn't it? All that we think we know is not always what we think. I use various media, books and Wikipedia for research.

I am often surprised at how my beliefs and facts are not what I thought ... and how do I even know that the contradiction is correct?

The date December 25th is apparently not even in the Bible!

Isaac Newton argued that the date was chosen to correspond with the winter solstice. Although the modern solstice date is December 21 or 22, the Romans marked it on December 25.

Who knows!

I'm now beginning to think I should have called my new religion Anti-Omniscience!!!

Now, I am not a particularly well read man, in fact I'm slightly dyslexic. I've never had a 'proper' job, mixed with corporate people or run with the rats ... and I am probably unemployable. I am a family man with amazing kids and a doting wife who takes too long getting ready and is late for absolutely everything!

I am not as successful as some but certainly more successful than most.

I get up when I want, do pretty much what I want when I want and the older I get the more I realise just how lucky I am ...

Actually, that's total bollocks (english for shite!), because I'm not in the slightest bit lucky (apart from the elements outside of my control such as the kids health and genes but even that was slightly thought through as I chose the best woman for the job! - Oooh, that's gonna hurt!!!!).

Side Note: You may notice I swear a lot and this may cause offence ... FUCK, SHIT AND PISS ... be offended, get over it and understand that I like swearing, it's my choice!

I have worked damn hard to be able to lie in. I developed an end game and steered MY destiny towards it.

Luck is relative ... most of us feel we are hard done by when things don't go right.

Are some unnaturally lucky whilst others desperately unlucky?

Well there are exceptions to the rule where 'luck' is concerned ... Paris Hilton seems to have it pretty easy for example!

A friend of mine said that we should be grateful for every day because a street urchin on the streets of Brazil would consider us very lucky.

Conversely, a starving African child in the depths of famine would consider the street kid lucky!

Luck is a state of mind for most people - there really are desperately unlucky people out there ... YOU are not one of them.

I am not religious in the traditional sense because there is nothing in it for me and I find that the rules and rewards are more motivated by control than altruism ... do this, do that or you will live eternal in hell and damnation, but do this (generally something that will be of benefit to the demander) and you'll live blissfully in wine and orgy ... when you're dead!!!

I believe that God, or Gods or The Ultimate One, portrayed by faiths in general isn't a very fair entity or even very good at it/he/she/their job!

Has he/she/it really got our best interests at heart? Is 'it' listening to our every word and request?

It must be a pretty noisy place up there with so many requests coming in, is it any wonder so many don't get answered?

To make the task easier 'it' should go for soft targets; take some of Bill Gates' cash, good luck and share it out a little more amongst the needy?Although I think he's doing a bit of that himself isn't he?

My good friend and nieghbour (who'll slap me for writing about her!) often have great debates about the existence of their Roman Catholic God. She once told me that she often starts her prayers with "sorry to bother you because I know you're busy".

When I asked "busy doing what" she answered, "helping the starving!"

"If he was busy doing that they wouldn't be starving would they?" I replied smugly! (and for that I get another slap!)

I feel most religion is elitist and arrogant ... at least the religions I have come into contact with and have limited knowledge about. And for those who say I should research more before making sweeping statements, my answer is that I have found my religion, I have found self.

I am utterly convinced that there is nothing in this life, in this place, in this time ... more accountable, more able and with more vested interest in me ... than me!

To believe in 'it' is not a bad thing however so long as those that do, learn not to be dependant and realise what the process is actually doing ... I believe that it is through faith and prayer that 'self' conditioning is effected.

That's important so I'll write it more importantly!

IT IS THROUGH FAITH AND PRAYER THAT 'SELF' CONDITIONING IS AFFECTED.

The more a person prays, the more that desire (if achievable) becomes reality .. BUT HERE'S THE RUB ...

NOT through an entity 'fixing stuff' (most of which is petty, selfish and indulgent) but because it becomes part of the psyche ... YOU make the difference YOU desire.

So this is why I choose to miss out the middle man, it's simply more efficient!

More about this later.

The issue I have with most faiths is that only the 'good' are allowed reward for 'good' things they do ... and if that entails strapping several kilos of semtex to your back and walking into a crowded cafe to detonate it, then so be it!

And I'm not saying that religion teaches that, it's an extreme example - but 'good' can be manipulated in so many ways all the way down the scale.

Does 'God' have time or inclination to look after the animals?

Are cats more deserved with their nine lives than the lowly slug?

And I'm leaving the Hindus out of this particular debate as they do apparently honour the cow, and rats I think ... or is that another religion ... and cats? No, that's the Egyptians ... I think?

Surely dogs have desires and wishes too?

And what about the hippos, warthog, wasps and mosquitoes?

It has been calculated that the tiny mozzi is responsible for more deaths on this planet than there are people alive today!!! So surely this devil bug of the apocalypse has a red hot ticket to hellfire eh?

But don't be too hasty in judgment, it's only the females that bite ... nothing new there then! ... I love you all really, I just wish I could work you out :)

So do all the menmozzis now get a VIP pass through the pearly gates where they can sit in the mozzi pole dancing clubs, drinking mozzi cocktails till the early hours in that place where hangovers don't exist ... or should they actually be condemned to mozzi hell for conspiracy with their evil mozzi womenfolk?

Or is this all far too petty for 'it' because 'it' exits to watch over and reward the good human folk?

Does 'it' listen to and reward the aliens, especially the three headed ones that smoke 'da weed'; the ones that spread love and happy thoughts, telepathically throughout the universe?

Or are only humans who 'believe' and follow the rules laid down by 'it' assured passage to a nice place with comfy beds and feather quilts?

I did pass the alien concept past my friend and was quite fascinated at the answer.

Apparently, an alien can be considered in the grand scheme ... only ... if it is as developed as humans. So that begged the question of what about the really advanced species?

Apparently, they must be able to speak English or at least be able to communicate coherently with others and be able to spread the word, then they will be looked after too ... BUT any lesser alien, ones less advanced than us are not considered!!!

So maybe that's why prayers don't get answered here on Earth? 'It' is too busy dealing with 'its' pet projects elsewhere in the universe???

Or is it 'all just an illusion' as Buddha would have us believe - probably the most sensible thing to get preached!

Don't worry, my new religion is quite uncomplicated and easy to live by.

I actually heard a lovely chinese story once about the difference between heaven and hell. At dinner both the good and bad would sit at their respective tables in heaven and hell.

Both tables were set with the most breathtaking banquette imaginable and both had to eat with six foot chopsticks.

The only difference between the two places is that the good fed each other whilst those in hell, selfishly tried to feed themselves!

I maintain throughout Omniscience that if you help yourself by doing the very best you can do in anything and everything you do ... you do not need to wait till the afterlife for the rewards.

You, your life, and close family are what matters in this life.

We can deal with what happens when we leave this mortal world in another chapter ... when I have a clue what happens!

The Afterlife, whether it exists or not, whether we go to a better place is simply not important right now.

Surely, if 'God' is fair and benevolent we will by default be readily accepted into Nirvana, Heaven, Paradise, be reborn, the Above, the Afterworld, Arcadia, Canaan, the Celestial Sphere, Eden, Elysian, Elysium, Empyrean, Eternity, the Ether, the Hereafter, the Kingdom, Olympus, the Promised Land, Shangri-la, the New Jerusalem, Utopia, Valhalla, Walhalla, Welkin, Zion ... or wherever we go because we are good people.

However, I do worry that 'The Almighty' is not fair, just or even particularly considerate ... but 'he' does work in mysterious ways ... damn fucking right he does!!!

And why is God generally a man?

What gender and colour was the being that created the God/s?

And why oh why do rapists win the lottery?

Why do murders like Sion Jenkins - Google him! A dirty, lying, cunning, insipid, child murdering c.nt who smashed Billie-Jo, his 13 year-old step-daughter's head in with an 18" metal tent peg (allegedly and quoting various sources!!!) - walk free and lead a charmed life; be allowed to stalk the local private school playing field with his new step children on sports days amongst the good people with their admirable children?

Why can no one approach this man to ask him 'politely' to leave the happy crowd and the village, or even voice an opinion like "you murdering, evil bastard" within his earshot?

Why can't he be lifted from the town and driven blindfolded and gagged to a rock in the Outer Hebrides (farthest, deepest Scotland) to be chained just below tide level; why can't that happen for fear of the social services, lawyers, and general busy bodies protecting him?

After all, he was never found Not Guilty, it was Not proven, something entirely different!

He simply managed to place enough doubt in the jurors' minds to not secure a 'safe' conviction. His legal team claimed the the blood splattered over his clothing wasn't the result of him stoving in his step-daughters' head up to ten times, but it came from 'air being released from Billie-Jo's lungs' as grief-stricken he moved her after finding her lying bleeding on the patio. That was after he sent in his other daughter to discover the body!!!

But this noxious, squalid waste of flesh and bones (as he has been called!) was good at getting his way through lies and perversity. He even made up his CV to secure a headmaster's job! Also claiming to have gone to Gordonstoun and the University of Kent ... In reality he was academically useless.

Incidentally, his ex-wife was so convinced he did it she moved to the other side of the world to protect what was left of her family!

He's now just written a book and in it claims he now miraculously, after all these years, reckons he saw the murderer, tall, dark-haired, dark-eyed and menacing in his house an hour after the gruesome discovery ... but took gave no credence to it at the time because he thought it was ... wait for it!!! ... a police man!!!

Why does a man like this get to live in a beautiful part of the country, in a large house with glorious gardens?

Why does a man like this get to live on the inherited fortunes of an aberration who courted him in prison? Why do people do that? What is the sick fascination in rotten people? 'Her hesitant, embarrassed letter said she felt drawn to him' ... fucking sicko, freak-bitch from Hades!

Would a fair and just God allow a man like this to enjoy the very best life has to offer, albeit with a dark secret and heavy conscience whilst Billy Joe Jenkins, a beautiful young woman just entering the best years of her life, who harmed not a living soul languishes 6' in the dirt?

Maybe God has something planned in the afterlife, who knows, or maybe this man didn't kill her (yea right ... Just watch the interviews!) and he deserves everything he has as compensation for the miscarriage of justice that put him in prison for six years ...

Jenkins was a Christian before prison, but says his faith has deepened ... I'm damn sure it has, I bet he counts his blessings every night!

Side note: I went off a bit on one there! I do that a lot so just bear with me when I do - the world is full of Sion Jenkins' and it simply isn't fair, right or just is it? ... Well is it?

'Elected' Presidents and Politicians, lie, cheat, connive and conspire ... yet holiday in the most beautiful resorts, drive the best cars money can buy, relax in their choice of opulent homes, guest on the world's most fantastic yachts, dine on exquisite food...

Why do the evil get rewarded in this life now when good and honest people who live their lives by the letter according to 'it'; good people like my Mother-in-Law suffer with terrible, undeserved ill health?

Why do the righteous perish or lose all that is dear in Tsunamis, Tornadoes and Hurricanes, the loyal get mugged for profit, the hard-working get looted, the honest get beaten and terrorized, the child-bearing get pistol-whipped and car-jacked, the retired have their pensions plundered, doctors nurses and the altruistic live on the bread line ... the really kind, helpful, warranted people get the rawest of deals? ...

No! Not a very fair or good God!

So I maintain that we deal with 'it' when the time comes and devote our energies to what we do have control over.

And there is a big problem facing traditional faith in that more and more people are seeing through the 'con', mainstream faiths are either changing, evolving or dying.

There is an alternative way; a different way.

Although faith in otherworldly entities is not for me, you on the other hand will have your own thoughts. 90% of the world population have faith ... I do not seek to change that; I intend merely to open your mind to choices that are yours to make; choices that if taken will affect your life immediately, for good or bad, for better or for worse ... the choice is yours.

As a matter of interest here is how the main religions are broken down:

My new religion is not really a religion, it's a way of life; a system to steer that life, a set of tools to get you through the turmoil, hard and lonely times. To help when you feel abandoned, weak and vulnerable.

My new religion will sit in any of the sectors above and aims to fill the gap between this life and the next (if indeed there is one).

I know there are social and moral codes covered in all faiths aimed at making one a better person and preparing them for when we go so I have decided that I will not lay down any rules and regulations ... the choices you make are yours to make and enjoy or suffer the consequences.

If you cannot apply an action and see an immediate, positive reaction then I say move on ...

I do not promote 'destiny' as gifted because, by definition, your future would be totally out of your control, therefore to attempt walking an alternative path would be pointless. To give credit to destiny I would promote deep meditation for 60 years and when you finally open your eyes see what 'destiny' had gifted.

I'm pretty damn sure that destiny would have created a 30 foot pile of turds and urea and not a lot else!!!

I do believe there are endless opportunities and threads of various destinies suspended in animation, floating by us all the time, any one will take a person to a place.

Which ones are grabbed depends on who is doing the catching. The well prepared will be casting a steely eye over the offerings, be skilled in the art of destiny fishing, will know what to grab and what to let glide by.

The unprepared will let most of the valuable threads drift aimlessly in the celestial breeze. The unprepared will actually grab no thread at all and be thankful or despondent for whatever settles on their path.

To elaborate on this very crudely. I didn't have a particularly privileged upbringing. Although my parents did their best we didn't live in a particularly good area and the school was rough as old dogs!

I honestly believe that if I hadn't possessed a self sense of betterment I would be in jail or dead right now. A lot of old school friends and the people I mixed with had chosen to grab at destiny threads of a darker end of the spectrum!

I always knew where I wanted to be, even at school when I got berated for getting in early, collecting all the conkers and selling them on, I knew I wanted a good, fulfilled life but it sure as hell was not going to sail my way ... so I looked out for the golden threads and when one meandered just close enough to touch, I grabbed it with both hands and didn't let go.

No, my religion is the religion of 'self' and developing your innate abilities to 'shape' or at least take advantage of circumstance.

There is no 'other one', nothing. You are alone and able to shape your life.

I don't believe in ghosts or ghoulies!

I was recently looked up on Friend's Reunited by a great old mate of mine with whom I'd lost touch, Bonehead! (no, that's his name).

We had great times more years ago than I care to dwell on selling timeshare in the Canaries.

In fact there was a bunch of us all getting paid good money to harass and fornicate with the tourists. ... The good looking girls might I add!

Often, when drunk, late at night, we used to do the Ouija board for a bit of fun. For those of you who are not familiar it's a tried and tested way to contact 'spirits' (the dead ones, not Vodka and Jack Daniels!) and has been around since before the Romans.

Now we had some really spooky experiences; really spooky! But it was all done in fun and light hearted way. Even when we contacted a seventeenth century farmer who got really nasty for disturbing him and kept telling us all to fuck off, fuck off, fuck off ... we took it in jest.

When you do the Ouija and get a powerful contact it really does open your mind to the possibilities of another world and no matter how flippant you try to be it is very, very spooky!

I could never work out if it was something coming from within the participants or if we were actually contacting the dead!

One night me old mate Bonehead and I came home with a less than bountiful tourist catch, well and truly bladdered and decided to have a little séance.

You start by placing you index fingers on the base of an upturned glass and slowly move it deliberately in slow circles on the board.

You start by saying "is there anybody there?" ... I'm laughing right now, you actually do say it!!!

"Is there anybody there?"

"Is there anybody there?"

"Isss therrrrrre anyboooooooody theeeereeeee?"

And eventually the glass will take on a life of it's own. It is pulled by an invisible force to letters and statements, quite forcibly at times.

The question is always raised "is that you moving the glass?"

The answer is always "no", it was from me anyway because I certainly never pushed it in any direction deliberately.

I did the board so many times, with so many different people that I was pretty sure no one was intentionally trying to deceive.

Something happened this night with Bonehead to open my mind and form my theory on the phenomenon ... Bonehead fell asleep!!!

BUT the friggin glass kept on going!

Far from shitting myself I carried on. I can't for the life of me remember who I was talking with but it was quite a strong force.

There was me slurring to the dead whilst Bonehead lay slumped and dribbling over the table ... and managing to keep his hand on the glass. If his hand slipped the glass would stop moving. When I put it back on it would continue.

So if he wasn't pushing the glass, I most certainly wasn't ... who or what was?

Even though I asked it to materialize and tell me things I didn't know, like which horse would win the next Grand National nothing came of it.

I only got answers to the things I knew the answer too!

To this day I still have no idea and I long since stopped playing those games. But my theory is that it comes from within. That night it was either from within me or Bonehead ... BUT as far as I am concerned it is a force buried deep in the uncharted depths of within.

What I have learned through life is that the more I learn, the less I really know and what I do learn is generally second hand or years old or just plain wrong.

Much of the history I was taught now turns out to be wrong, in fact almost everything I was taught at school has been updated. 1+2 still=4 but the dinosaurs were killed by a rampant venereal disease and not the ice age or a big brick that fell from space.

It now appears that many of the great animals were killed by man? I think, who knows - all I know is what I've been told and until I have time to learn paleontology and do my own research I will endlessly debate the experts' theories as though they were my own.

Unfortunately, this is all we have. Omniscience won't change this, it's about understanding it and generating self awareness; to become a person visiting the aquarium not a being fish swimming in it.

When studying animals, scientists compare intelligence verses instinct.

To do this they put a mirror in the compound. They note that most animals see their reflection as another animal reacting by either running away or headlong into attack ... Thwack! "Fucking funny Mr Scientist, thank you very much!"

However, elephants apparently, understand what is known to these clever people as 'self'. They understand that the animal in front is a reflection, some have been seen blow-drying their hair and putting on lipstick ... no not really! But they do possess that fundamental attribute that sets them apart.

The more I learn, the more I realise that all I can truly believe is half of what I see and very little of what I hear.

So I developed my own thoughts and share them for others to debate. I do not set rules for people to follow because my new religion is the religion of self and as such you have a choice. I sincerely hope that what you read here will help you make the right choices for you more easily.

You see, when I began writing this I was pot less. When I first started to put it together I was living in a shite hole, condemned mobile home so rotten that when I came home, a little worse for the copious quantities of alcohol I'd consumed and stood in the wrong place, I'd go right through the floor!

It never happened did it and it's a thousand years away?

I believe we’ll always want to live in a beautiful barn conversion or a New Your style loft or traditional fisherman’s cottage, or contemporary town house - the only difference in modern times is the gadgets get more sophisticated and our lives get easier ... and the more money we need to make to subsidize our extravagance!

So it is almost a given that we need cash to lead more enjoyable, easier lives ... I believe we need stacks of it these days ... and The Machine? ... Read on!

As communication and technology has developed so The Machine has evolved.

It has been said that money does not make you happy - Yea, bollocks!
